With our overnight crewed yacht charters in the Whitsundays,
you only need the
basics onboard. As space
is limited onboard a small
soft bag each is your limit.
No sleeping bags, sheets
or pillows are needed either.
During the warmer months
you will need light clothes,
swimmers, plenty of sunscreen,
hat, sunglasses, toiletries,
towel and camera. In the
cooler months you will also
need a warmer coat for the
evening and maybe long trousers.
The main thing to remember
is a towel and swimmers.
With most overnight crewed Whitsunday yacht charter, you will
need to check in the
day before departure,
both for a briefing and
to make sure we have
the right information
from you. This ensures
you have all the correct
information about the
cruise prior to departing
the marina. When checking
in, please make sure
you have your original
voucher with you as well.
A
briefing usually covers
what you need to bring,
where you need to be
and any extra charges
that need to be settled.
(like Marine Park Tax & Stinger
Suits)
Most of our
crewed yacht charters in the Whitsundays
are also byo alcohol.
No glass bottles, only
cans or boxes of wine.
Please check with your
consultant if your cruise
is byo or not. For the
cruises with alcohol
onboard you will find
they are cheaper than
bar prices.
Please
note there is a fee levied
on all passengers to cover
park entry fees and administration
costs. The Great Barrier
Reef Marine Park Authority
and Queensland Parks and
Wildlife charge fees for
entry into the Marine and
National Parks. The overall
fee includes these costs
and administrative costs.
These are subject to change
and are payable either
at check-in or upon boarding.
At the time of printing
a total fee of $9 per full
day is recommended by the
Whitsunday Charter Boat
Industry Association to
cover these costs and includes
EMC (Environmental Management
Charge or Reef Tax) of
$4.50 per day, Commercial
Activity Permit Fee of
$1.30 per day, Administration Fees
of $2.90 per day plus GST.
