Pack Light and Pack Well
Of course since space is limited on board our boats, you will typically only be able to bring a small cloth bag with you. Fortunately, you will not require much while on the open seas anyway. In the summer months, remember to bring a hat, your swimmers and plenty of sunscreen. A few pairs of shorts and t-shirts will also be enough as the temperature can get quite warm. If you charter yachts with us in the wintertime, you should also bring along a coat and maybe some long trousers as it can be cool at night. Do not worry about forgetting anything though, as we provide you with an informative briefing beforehand about what you will need while out on the water. Simply follow the advice given and you will be fine. When it comes to drinking, our crewed boats are either BYO or licensed. Those interested in yacht rentals should find out if alcohol is available on board or not before they hire a vessel. If there is beer and wine sold on the boat, you will find that the prices offered are cheaper than in your local bar, giving you more reason to enjoy your sea-bound getaway.
Arranging Your Tropical Holiday
To book a spot on one of our Whitsundays’ boats, you will first have to put down a 20% deposit to reserve your berth. If you need to talk the matter over with your friends or family, we can also put a room aside for a maximum of five days without a deposit. Once you have made your decision, you will have to make the full payment thirty days in advance. Whether you opt for our crewed or bareboat charters, we will need some more information so that we can hire out a vessel to you. This includes the names of those who will be on board, special dietary requirements (if on a crewed vessel) and arrival details. We can arrange everything over the phone or through the contact details found here on our website. If you agree to our yachts charters packages, you will need to check in with us the day before regardless of where you are coming from in Australia. This is to ensure that all details are correct and so that we can brief you on exactly what to bring and how to remain safe while you voyage around the sunny region that is the Whitsundays.
